Nearly all industries rely heavily on water for their day-to-day operations. This prevalence of water use may not be surprising, but what is remarkable is that most commercial and residential users overpay on their water & sewer bills by approximately 20% - 35%.

As water flows through the municipal waterworks from its source to the meter, the water line accumulates a significant volume of entrapped air resulting from turbulence in the water line. Because water meters measure volume and cannot distinguish between volumes of air and water, users are being billed for this volume of entrapped air as if it were water. In addition, users’ constant on/off activity along the line results in turbulent flow causing vibration at the meter which results in overspinning, and therefore, overcharging. These inaccuracies inflate reported water consumption and consequently overstate water and sewer expenses by upwards of 35%.

AcquaFlow™ mitigates this problem—consumers stop buying air from the water company and turbulent flow is smoothed.

Installed on the consumer’s side of the water meter, the valve creates a pressure wave that results in a compression zone on the municipal side of the meter. Within this zone the volume of the entrapped air is compressed and water flow is smoothed, such that the result is a more accurate consumption reading and a significant reduction of water and sewer expenses with no difference in pressure or flow at the tap.

Once the water passes through AcquaFlow™ it returns to its original state. This means that there is no discernible change in pressure or flow at the tap.
